Tuesday night, our family's life changed in less than an hour.
On Tuesday evening, we received a Flash Flood Warning. Within approximately 45 minutes, floodwater had entered our home, leaving behind significant damage and turning the place where our family feels safest into a construction zone overnight.
Today, we're beginning the long journey of rebuilding.

Our Story
For years, we've called this house home.
Like many of our neighbors, we've experienced water collecting in our backyard during heavy rain. It became routine to move our vehicles whenever storms were forecast because we knew flooding in the yard was possible.
But nothing prepared us for what happened on Tuesday night.
After receiving a Flash Flood Warning, the situation escalated quickly. Within less than an hour, floodwater entered our home, damaging the place where we've built memories, raised our family, and found comfort.
While we continue working through the insurance process and begin restoring our home, we're also facing significant out-of-pocket recovery costs before repairs can fully begin.
This has been one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced, but we also know we don't have to face it alone.
For years, you've supported my music, encouraged our family, prayed for us, attended events, shared our work, and shown us what community truly looks like.
Today, we're humbly asking for that same community to stand beside us once again.
